As week 1: of the SDGs Goals, January 24-30 2022, has gone passed my students explored the informational videos and all 17 goals. Students need to understand the importance of global citizenship and Sustainable Development Goals.

We used Nearpod as an interactive platform. This is a link to an editable lesson Sustainability Development Goals

We investigated by using a circle map and added words and Gifs that describe water in the world around us. We focused on our local community perspectives.

Some of the students used a thinking map and added many words about water then we used a word cloud shaped like a drop of water https://www.wordclouds.com

This week we will investigate other counties that do not have access to clean water https://lifewater.org/blog/how-many-countries-dont-have-clean-water-top-10-list-and-facts

I will be using the line of questions from the @CrazyPLN #CrazyPln chat Saturday 01/29/22 this week. My students will follow the Depth of Knowledge (DOK) Level 1-4. The first level focuses on Recall, the second level highlights Skill/Concept, the third level points out Strategic Thinking, the fourth level addresses Extended Thinking.
